#LoveDandG Hour- Inspired by D and G

This months #LoveDandG Hour is on Thursday 25th June 9-10pm and our theme is Inspired by D and G

It is hard to believe that it has been a whole month since the last successful #LoveDandG Hour but we hope that everyone has continued to stay safe and healthy.   As we start to see some of the restrictions being lifted and an indicative date of the 15th July for tourism to reopen we wanted to think about highlighting where in D&G people may wish to visit once it is safe to do so.

During #LoveDandG Hour we will be encouraging people from Dumfries and Galloway and across the rest of Scotland to share photos of their favorite places to visit in D&G to help give some inspiration to people once they decide to travel around the Region as restrictions are lifted.

How you can get involved?

Simply join us on Twitter on the night and get involved in answering the questions below and tag all your tweets with the hashtags #LoveDandG and

9:00 pm   1. We are continuing to support the Visit Scotland #AWindowonScotland campaign.  Please share your photos from across D&G over the last month whether it be from your daily exercise or from your window. #LoveDandG

9:10 pm   2. Once restrictions are lifted where is the one place in D&G that you can’t wait to visit again ? #LoveDandG

9:20pm   3. We have seen some stunning weather over the last few months. What outdoor activities in D&G are you looking forward to getting back to or trying once it is safe to travel more?  #LoveDandG

9:30pm  4.  It will be important to support local businesses once places start to open up.  Where are you looking forward to going  for some great food and drink in D&G? #LoveDandG

9:40pm  5.  Our Region has some stunning coastlines, fantastic historic sites and amazing walks.  What are your favourite historic sites or walks around the Region? #LoveDandG
